We have been making Frobscottle Whizzpoppers from the BFG. We were trying to make the bubbles go down and not up! We learned the gas inside a fizzy drink is called carbon dioxide. This is what makes it fizz. We added mints to fizzy drinks and watched them explode. We recorded our predictions and results with drawings and writing. We made a yucky medicine for George's Grandma. We phoned George to tell him which ingredients we used. We learnt that oil doesn't mix with water, it separates.
